Burgundy & Gold Orchid Graduation Lei

A graduation lei created using 80 to 100 stem died orchids strung through the side of each orchid turning it to create a full lush looking lei. Once completed the orchid lei is approximately 20 inches from the top to the bottom of the lei. The stem died orchids start off as purple dendrobium orchids and are stem dyed yellow by soaking the stem directly in a solution of yellow dye that is slowly absorbed by the stem and blooms of the orchid creating a burgundy and yellow orchid.
